We're looking for a motivated, experienced nurse with a strong background in leadership and emergency care to work closely with the Business Manager, Veterinary Director, GP Head Nurse and GP Veterinary Team Leader.

What you'll be doing each day:
n
n
Managing a team of Emergency Vet Nurses
n
Supporting our busy Emergency Vet teams
n
Guiding and developing the Vet Nurse teams, building a positive team culture
n
Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post‐operative care,



animal pathology and emergency and critical care
n
Performing minor procedures when required
n
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
n
Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a vet nurse
n
ECC nursing experience
n
Confidence in working within a busy hospital setting
n
Team building skills with previous experience leading and/or mentoring a team
n
Strong communication and customer service skills
n
Availability to work every second weekend advantageous
n
