Healthy Working Lives Research Group - Academic and Professional Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled research and skilled staff to join a prestigious Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Fellowship program led by Professor Alex Collie in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
n
This program focuses on modernising Australia's work disability support systems by developing evidence-based tools and policy models that assess system effectiveness, understand long-term work absences, and reflect community preferences.

Research Fellow - Workplace Sickness Absence *******) – Level B $118,974 – $141,283 pa (plus 17% super)

Research Fellow - Participant Experience Measures *******) – Level B $118,974 – $141,283 pa (plus 17% super)

Research Fellow - Social Policy Reform *******) – Level B $118,974 – $141,283 pa (plus 17% super)

Senior Program Coordinator *******) – HEW Level 07 $106,789 – $117,128 pa (plus 17% super)

Key Responsibilities
n
• Design and conduct large-scale national prospective cohort studies on worker sickness absence,
including recruitment, data linkage and longitudinal follow-up.
n
• Develop and validate participant-reported experience measures for workers' compensation and social security systems through survey development, cohort recruitment, data analysis and dissemination.
n
• Establish community preferences for policy settings via discrete choice experiments, participant recruitment, data analysis and communication of findings.
n
• Lead project management, publication, project reporting, and supervise PhD students across the ARC Laureate fellowship projects.
n
