Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Job Description
n
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Dispatch Officer to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the production team and reporting directly to the Fleet Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Work closely with Production Supervisors and Coordinators to ensure equipment allocation is both optimised and prioritised to achieve planned objectives.
n
Continuously monitoring the mining fleet to capture information and ensure the availability of accurate real‐time data for the operations.
n
Liaising with the Production, Technical Services and Maintenance Departments to collect, validate, and report production statistics.
n
Monitor the radio communication system, geological radar, operator awareness and equipment high precision systems.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience and competencies operating large mining equipment.
n
Experience using Fleet Management Software (Dispatch 6, ProVision 3, Terrain)
n
High computer literacy skills
n
Robust leadership,



communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Developed understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.
n
Ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.
n
Previous experience in the industry.
n
Relevant qualifications
n
Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.

Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
