Senior Medical Officer – Emergency Medicine

Contract period: 22 May ********* January ****

Location: South Australia, 384 km north of Adelaide.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Provide emergency medical care as a Senior Medical Officer in a 24‐hour integrated team covering general medical, surgical, and specialist services.
n
Deliver high‐quality acute and stabilisation care for all patients, including trauma, maternity, paediatric, and cardiac cases.
n
Participate in clinical governance, training, and audit activities in the department.
n
n
Qualifications & Experience:
n
n
Medical degree, registered with AHPRA.
n
Board‐certified in Emergency Medicine (FRACGP, FACRRM, ACEM) or senior fellow status (SMOFELLOWED).
n
Minimum 3‐5 years of experience in an emergency department as senior staff.
n
n

Senior Night Shift ************)n

Suitable for FRACGP / FACRRM / ACEM certificate / SMOFELLOWED.
n
Rate: $250 per hour weekdays, $270 per hour weekends and public holidays (non‐fellowed). Fellows receive the same rates.
n
