About The Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Applications Analyst to join our IT team in Victoria. This is a key role responsible for supporting, optimising, and enhancing our clinical systems to enable protected, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
n
You will work closely with clinicians, operational teams, and vendors to ensure our systems are configured effectively, continuously improved, and aligned with clinical workflows.
n
This is a Permanent Full-Time role.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Configure and maintain clinical systems (e.g. RIS, PACS, EMR/EHR)
n
Support application lifecycle activities including upgrades, patches, testing, and releases
n
Analyse clinical workflows and recommend system improvements
n
Support implementations, deployments, and go-live activities across sites
n
Perform system, integration, and UAT testing
n
Troubleshoot issues and provide timely support to clinical users
n
Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to deliver enhancements and projects
n
Maintain documentation, SOPs,
and configuration records
n
Participate in on-call support as required
n
n
About You
n
You are a technically strong and clinically aware systems specialist who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires prior experience within the healthcare industry, ideally in radiology, diagnostic imaging, or hospital environments.
n
To Be Successful, You Will Have
n
n
Proven experience (3â5+ years) supporting clinical applications in a healthcare setting
n
Hands-on experience with RIS, PACS, EMR/EHR, or similar clinical systems
n
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows (radiology experience highly desirable)
n
Experience managing upgrades, testing, and system deployments
n
Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, and healthcare integrations
n
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Ability to balance competing priorities and work collaboratively
n
Degree in IT, Computer Science, Health Informatics or related field
n
ITIL, PMP or relevant certifications (desirable)
n
