We're looking for an experienced Service Electrician to join our team at Royal North Shore Hospital, taking ownership of day-to-day electrical maintenance to keep a critical healthcare facility running safely.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Carrying out Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM)
n
RCD testing
n
Body/cardiac protection testing
n
Thermal scanning
n
Installing electrical and data communications works to a high standard
n
Fault-finding on electrical and data communications systems
n
Scheduled and reactive maintenance and repairs
n
Liaising directly with hospital staff, clearly explaining the work undertaken
n
Completing job paperwork and compliance documentation on time
n
Working safely and adhering to site and company safety standards at all times
n
n
About you
n
n
Valid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications (essential)
n




Registered Communications and Data Cabler with endorsements (preferred)
n
Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills
n
Great communicator with solid customer service skills — comfortable working in a live hospital setting around staff and patients
n
Experience in a commercial environment, with a strong safety mindset
n
Team player who supports colleagues when needed
n
Comfortable managing competing priorities and tight deadlines without dropping quality
n
Valid driver's licence, you'll be driving a company service van between tasks/sites
n
