Our global Enterprise arm provides embedded finance orchestration to top-tier clients across the US, Australia, and the UK. As we scale, we are looking for a visionary Frontend Lead to spearhead our UI architecture and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As a Frontend Lead, you aren't just writing code; you're setting the standard for how we build. You will be instrumental in shaping the user-facing future of our platform and ensuring our "pioneering tech" remains category-leading.

Architectural Leadership: Build and maintain next-generation web applications with a focus on Vue.js, ensuring the codebase is scalable, performant, and elegant.
n
Quality Governance: Take full ownership of Valiant's end-to-end testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to ensure 24/7 reliability.
n
Technical Mentorship: Lead design and code reviews, fostering a culture of high engineering standards and supporting the growth of junior/mid-weight engineers.
n
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Design to translate complex financial workflows into seamless, "human" user experiences.
n
Optimisation: Drive performance strategies, including Core Web Vitals, code-splitting, and cross-device compatibility.
n
Integration: Orchestrate complex integrations with backend systems and third‐party APIs.

What We're Looking For

We need a passionate leader who balances technical excellence with a keen eye for UX and a desire to automate the mundane.

Required Experience
n
n
7+ years of professional frontend experience, with expert‐level Vue.js skills (Composition API, Vuex/Pinia, Vue Router).
n
Proven experience in a Lead or Senior capacity, with a track record of mentoring teams and making high‐level architectural decisions.
n
Mastery of Testing Frameworks: Robust experience with E2E (Cypress), Unit (Jest/Vitest), and integration testing.
n
Hands‐on experience with modern Build Tools (Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines.
n
A portfolio that showcases a passion for creating high‐quality, accessible, and engaging user interfaces.
n
Exceptional communication skills and experience using Agile tools (Jira, Linear).

Interest in leveraging AI tools to automate development workflows and repetitive tasks.
n
Experience with Security Best Practices (OWASP, STRIDE) and compliance (SOC2/GDPR).

Deep knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design.

Knowledge of the financial services or lending industry.

A Computer Science degree or a strong understanding of backend/full‐stack concepts.
