Fixed‐Term Employment Register

The Clinical Lead Allied Health Skilled Employment Register provides the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled people who can be called upon at short notice. Interested candidates may submit their application to be considered for duties on a fixed‐term or casual basis. The register will remain open until 30 June **** and will be reviewed regularly.

Salary

$123,717 to $134,336 per annum.

Access to the Year 4Q progression point of $134,336 is subject to successful completion of a relevant Master's Degree.

Duties
n
n
Provide expert‐level allied health specialist clinical advice enabling delivery of high‐quality patient care for patients with complex care requirements.
n
Develop and promote effective partnerships within the Tasmanian Health Service and with external community service providers for liaison,



education and support for complex and high‐risk patients.
n
Provide authoritative specialist clinical advice on the development of policies and the delivery of services across the continuum of care.
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registration with the relevant Board, or, for unregulated professions, eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association.
n
n
Pre‐Employment Checks
n
n
Conviction checks in the following areas: Crimes of Violence, Sex‐Related Offences, Serious Drug Offences, Crimes involving dishonesty, Identification check, Disciplinary action in previous employment, Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration where applicable.

Desirable Requirements
n
n
Satisfactory completion of postgraduate qualifications and/or other accredited training in allied health professional practice.
n
Current Driver's Licence.
