Project Scheduler / Planner

We're currently recruiting for a Project Scheduler / Planner that will interface with the Project Management and delivery teams to coordinate, manage and oversee project and program schedules relating to a variety of Rail Infrastructure works.
n
Based in Melbourne CBD, this is a contract role through to March ****, with the possibility of extension.
n
Roles and Responsibilities
n
n
Construct, maintain, and manage project / program schedules in P6
n
Oversee and monitor schedules, review vendor and project team updates, analyse and report on critical paths, variances, risks, and dependencies
n
Assess updates and changes to project schedules, evaluate against key performance metrics, and prepare progress reports
n
Establish and maintain an effective schedule review process, ensuring positive version control, housekeeping, and communication of timelines and deadlines to stakeholders
n

Skills and Requirements
n
n
Prior experience working as a Planner, Scheduler, Project Controls Specialist / Engineer etc.
n
Proven experience in schedule management, including establishing and maintaining schedules, monitoring progress,



and identifying risks
n
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory)
n
Experience with project delivery in rail, infrastructure or similar heavy industries (manufacturing, mining, defence, aviation, aerospace, automotive etc.) would be valuable
n
