QLD | Full-Time | Monday to Friday (7:00am - 3:20pm) + Overtime/Saturdays as Required

n About The Role
n Reporting to the Operations Manager QLD, with the support of a dedicated LC Scheduler, you'll play a key role in conducting detailed site investigations to support engineering and construction outcomes. Your work will be vital in assessing soil conditions, performing risk assessments, and delivering high-quality site reports.
n What You'll Do
n
n
Review and prepare daily job schedules
n
Conduct site risk assessments and site photo documentation
n
Drill boreholes using a 4WD-mounted rig and log soil profiles to industry standards (AS*********)
n
Perform Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) tests and soil strength assessments
n
Collect and send soil samples for laboratory testing
n
Assess site wind ratings (AS****) and prepare detailed site drawings
n
Compile and submit electronic site investigation reports daily
n
Support lab testing activities such as shrink/swell and salinity testing
n
Maintain company vehicle and equipment standards
n
Assist with additional tasks such as Screw Pier installations as required
n
About You:n
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
n
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Flexibility and willingness to take initiative in a growing company environment
n
Ability to adapt and contribute to cross-functional teams
n
Valuable communication and reporting skills
n
Relevant experience in site investigation or geotechnical field work preferred
n
