Senior Environmental Advisor - Contaminated Land

As a Senior Environmental Consultant with our client, a leading environmental consultancy in Australia, you'll focus on office-based tasks including analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, specialising in contaminated land. Responsibilities include leading state-wide intrusive investigations, conducting site inspections, and preparing technical reports for environmental assessments. Your role will utilise expertise in contaminated land guidance to inform decisions and solutions.

Base pay range
n
A$130,******/yr - A$175,******/yr
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage the project and teams on complex projects.
n
Preparing technical reports and proposals, ensuring accurate cost calculations.
n
Travel throughout the state to undertake surveys, often in remote locations for extended survey periods, but always considering your work/life balance.
n
Making technical decisions and providing solutions based on expertise.
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
Degree qualification in environmental science or ecology discipline, zoology
n




Significant experience consulting experience as an environmental scientist / Advisor within the contaminated land sector.
n
6-10 years' experience in various environmental services.
n
Proven experience in proposal development and project management and working as part of a team.
n
Proven experience in supervision of junior team members, with the ability to mentor, and taking a leading role in field surveys.
n
