About the job Cyber Security Intern - NSW

The successful intern would get exposure to the following duties:
n
n
Monitoring and analyzing security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
n
Assisting in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
n
Conducting vulnerability assessments and assisting with penetration testing under supervision.
n
Using security tools to monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and prevent unauthorized access.
n
Assisting in investigating security incidents, including reviewing logs and preparing incident reports.
n
Updating and maintaining security documentation, including risk assessments and compliance records.
n
Supporting the maintenance of firewalls, antivirus software, and other security systems.
n
Assisting with the administration of access controls, including user account management.
n
Day-to-day tasks include monitoring email security alerts, managing security documentation,



and assisting with user training.
