The Role Lead TasWater's Health Safety Business Partnering function for the south of the state and play a key role in strengthening physical and psychological safety across the organisation.
You'll lead a team of H S Business Partners, influence leaders to embed robust safety practices, and drive risk-based approaches that improve safety culture, capability and performance across TasWater.
Lead the delivery of proactive Health, Safety and Wellbeing partnering services that support business performance and align with TasWater's strategic objectives.
Drive safety improvement and organisational change, using data, insights and assurance findings to strengthen H S performance.
Influence safety outcomes across TasWater, working with employees, contractors and stakeholders to promote shared ownership of health, safety and wellbeing Drive consistency in the delivery of incident management, hazard management, investigation and assurance activities across the organisation.
Influence leaders at all levels to strengthen safety leadership capability and accountability.

please click HERE What we're looking for We're looking for an experienced Health Safety leader who thrives in complex operational environments and is passionate about creating safer, healthier workplaces.
You'll bring strong leadership, stakeholder influencing and risk management capability, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive meaningful improvements in safety culture and performance.
Significant experience in complex, high-risk operational environments.
Strong people leadership skills, with experience developing high-performing teams and building capability.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, standards and governance frameworks, with the ability to apply these in operational settings.
Demonstrated success leading organisational change and improving safety culture and performance.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risks, use data and insights, and make timely, informed decisions that deliver practical outcomes.

The Details This role is based in Hobart and attracts a salary of $135,072 - $150,080 (inclusive of superannuation).
