The Montefiore Foundation is looking for a casual Retail Assistant to join the team at our Hunters Hill Residential campus.
The Emporium plays a special role in our community; every purchase directly supports our Foundation's work to subsidise care for over 30% of our concessional residents.
About the Role This is a hands-on retail role working 18 hours per week alongside our dedicated volunteers and Boutique Supervisor.
The Retail Assistant is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming shopping experience for customers, keeping the store tidy and helping with stock and sales.




Key Responsibilities ⢠Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner ⢠Work collaboratively with volunteers and team members ⢠Process transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly ⢠Support stock intake, restocking, and inventory checks ⢠Help maintain the store's appearance, including displays and window setups What We're Looking For ⢠Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience ⢠Confident communication skills ⢠Friendly and approachable with a robust sense of teamwork
