Initial 6-Month Contract (extension opportunities anticipated) Location: Perth, WA Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite) Start Date: Immediate We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester to join a high-profile transformation program delivering solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of business-critical applications through comprehensive testing activities.
A strong background in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Pages, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE), and related Microsoft technologies is highly desirable.
Candidates with extensive testing experience across large-scale ERP or CRM platforms will also be considered, particularly where they have worked within complex enterprise environments.
This prospect is ideal for a quality-focused testing professional who can work independently, engage effectively with stakeholders, and drive testing activities from planning through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned to business and technical requirements.
Execute test plans and coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams.
Perform manual testing across Power Platform and Dynamics 365 environments.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and integration testing.
Validate functionality, usability, and performance of Power Pages implementations.
Test Power Apps solutions, including Model-Driven Apps and Canvas Apps.
Identify, document, prioritise, and manage defects through to resolution.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers to ensure quality outcomes.
Review requirements and provide input into testing scope, risks, and quality assurance activities.
Produce testing reports, defect metrics, and status updates for project stakeholders.
Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Required Skills Experience Proven experience as a Senior Tester within enterprise application environments.
Strong experience testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
Hands-on testing experience with: Power Pages Power Apps (Model-Driven Apps) Power Apps (Canvas Apps) Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE) Demonstrated experience creating and executing end-to-end test plans and test cases.
Strong background in: Manual Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Regression Testing Integration Testing Experience managing defects using enterprise test management and tracking tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Alternative Backgrounds Considered Candidates without direct Microsoft Power Platform experience may still be considered if they possess strong testing experience across enterprise-scale platforms such as: ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne, Workday, etc.) CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Oracle CX, HubSpot, etc.)
Large-scale customer service, case management, or workflow-based applications The ability to quickly understand complex business processes and enterprise application landscapes will be highly regarded.
Highly Regarded Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
Exposure to Microsoft Dataverse.
Experience testing portal and customer-facing web applications.
Automation testing experience using modern testing frameworks and tools.
Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments.
Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Testing/Quality Assurance disciplines.
Experience working on digital transformation and cloud-based application projects.
