Nursing Australia is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker – High Care to join our growing team and provide quality, person-centred support.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting clients with high care needs, including Dysphagia, PEG Feeding, Bowel Care, Seizure Management and Medication Competency.
You will be confident providing safe, respectful and individualised care while supporting clients to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Minimum 6 months' full-time experience working in Disability Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care Experience with Dysphagia, PEG Feeding, Bowel Care and Seizure Management Medication Assistance Certificate Current NDIS Worker Screening Check Current National Criminal Record Check Valid Working With Children Check Current First Aid Certificate Current Manual Handling Certificate Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle Comprehensive Car Insurance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to providing person-centred care If you are an experienced Disability Support Worker looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.
