Job Description SGS Fulcrum is seeking an experienced and motivated Robotics Operator to lead the safe and effective delivery of innovative inspection, survey, and monitoring projects across industrial and environmental sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled robotics professional who enjoys field operations, client engagement, and working with cutting-edge technologies.
You will play a key role in delivering projects using our fleet of UAVs, ROVs, and UGVs, while supporting project planning, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement across robotics operations.
What You'll Be Doing Operating and leading the deployment of advanced UAV, ROV, and UGV technologies.
Delivering inspection, survey, and monitoring projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Mentoring team members and supporting operational excellence across robotics services.
Processing spatial data and producing GIS, mapping, and 3D modelling deliverables.
Working closely with clients to provide innovative, technology-driven solutions.
Driving continuous improvement in robotics operations, data workflows, and project delivery.
Promoting a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality in everything you do.

Qualifications About You You are a hands-on technical professional with a passion for robotics and a commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Essential Requirements CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL).
Experience operating UAVs, ROVs, and/or UGVs within industrial, infrastructure, environmental, or resource sectors.
Demonstrated leadership experience in field operations or project delivery environments.
Strong understanding of robotics platforms, sensors, and inspection technologies.
Knowledge of CASA regulations, WHS requirements, and operational risk management.
Experience with GIS and spatial data processing software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4D, or Agisoft Metashape.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Desirable Experience in asset inspection, environmental monitoring, surveying, or industrial services.
UET***** Certificate II in ESI - Asset Inspection.
Experience leading multiple projects and field teams.
