Business Development Manager – OCC Health Clinic Location: Osbourne Park, WA Employment Type: Part‐time position beginning with a 3‐month contract, with continuation expected where performance meets expectations.
About the Role We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth for our client's Perth-based occupational health clinic, specialising in pre‐employment medicals for rail, mining, contracting, and labour‐hire industries.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships with clients who rely on fast, reliable medical assessments for their workforce.
You'll be the face of the centre – driving client engagement, increasing bookings, and ensuring our services are a trusted and reliable choice for employers, workers, and job candidates.
Duties responsibilities Develop and execute a business growth strategy to increase medical bookings and client acquisition.
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, labour‐hire companies, and local businesses.
Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into ongoing partnerships.
Conduct client visits, presentations, and capability discussions to promote services.
Work closely with the medical centre team to ensure smooth service delivery and exceptional client experience.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry requirements to inform business strategy.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and service agreements for new and existing clients.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, and reporting metrics.
Represent the medical centre at industry events, networking opportunities, and community engagements.
Collaborate with management to refine service offerings and support operational improvements.




Skills experience Valid Australian driver's licence.
Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales, ideally within medical, health services, mining services, or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of pre‐employment medicals, injury management, or workforce compliance (highly regarded) Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Commercial mindset with demonstrated ability to meet growth targets.
Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
Ability to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
