Balpara is a premier power consultancy seeking an Experienced Distribution Engineer / Designer to join a high‐performing, passionate team.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality engineering designs across overhead, underground and distribution substation projects
Attend sites as required, bringing your expertise to the field
Provide technical input into constructability and maintainability
Apply industry standards and safety in design guidelines
Manage designs effectively across projects of varying complexity, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
Identify cutting-edge solutions to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes
Deliver distribution design projects for the Victorian Power Utilities such as Citipower, Powercor, United Energy, Ausnet and Jemena
Qualifications
Proven experience in distribution projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of safety in design practices
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent
Experience in AutoCAD drafting
Experience with Revit and NEARA is beneficial but not essential
