An exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join a fast-growing, design-led ASX-listed company at the forefront of digital retail. The Role:
n
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you'll be part of a collaborative legal team that partners closely with business units, working on varied and interesting matters that influence strategic direction. Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including technology, supplier, logistics, and partnership contracts.
n
Provide practical and commercially relevant legal advice to internal stakeholders.
n
Monitor and advise on regulatory compliance, including consumer law, privacy, spam laws, and ASX listing obligations.
n
Assist in developing and maintaining legal policies and risk frameworks.
n
Manage external legal counsel and legal technology tools to ensure cost-effective and efficient support.
n
Support with dispute resolution and regulatory communications when needed.
n
n
Experience and Skills Required:
n
n
3–5 years' post-qualification experience,



ideally gained in-house or within a corporate practice.
n
Strong commercial contract experience with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes.
n
Familiarity with consumer law, privacy/data protection, and corporate governance.
n
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
n
Previous exposure to eCommerce, retail, or technology-driven environments is advantageous.
n
