Daracon Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Dozer Operator to join our Plant Operations team.
n
This role will primarily involve operating Dozers across a variety of civil construction and mining projects throughout Newcastle, the Hunter and surrounding regions.
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
Demonstrated experience operating dozers from D6 to D10 in civil and/or mining environments.
n
Sound knowledge and experience with modern machine control systems, including
n




Caterpillar Grade Control technology and Trimble Earthworks.
n
The ability to carry out bulk earthworks, batters, rehabilitation and final trim activities to specification.
n
A strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
n
The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with supervisors and other site personnel.
n
Current competencies and site-based operating experience relevant to the role.
n
A current driver's licence and the ability to work across various project locations.
n
Flexibility and willingness to work away from home on remote projects when required.
n
Desirable requirements include:
n
Experience working on civil construction and mining projects.
n
Current SOA in Dozer Operations.
n
Experience working to tight tolerances and achieving high-quality final trim outcomes.
