About the Role
You'll be supporting a participant who uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with daily living activities, personal care and community participation.
We're looking for someone who can combine solid practical skills with genuine empathy and a person-centred approach. Experience withmanual handling and hoist transfersis essential.

9:00am to 5:00pm

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver person-centred support tailored to the participant's goals, preferences and aspirations.
Provide personal care and daily living support with dignity, respect and professionalism.
Support community access, social connection and independence.
Build positive and meaningful relationships with the participant and their support network.
Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.
Live Aruma's BRAVE values through every interaction.

What We're Looking For
Essential
Disability support experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting people who use wheelchairs.
Confidence and practical experience using a hoist.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A person-centred approach and genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to delivering quality supports.
Desirable
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar qualification.
Experience working within NDIS-funded services.

Compliance Requirements
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
Current Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current Australian Driver's Licence and valid working rights.
