About the Company

Our client is a well-established global organisation with a cooperative and high-performing finance team based in North Sydney. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a broad accounting role with elements of management accounting, commercial finance and stakeholder engagement. Previous experience supporting the healthcare sector will be highly regarded, as you will partner closely with key stakeholders across this portfolio.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while providing commercial support to the healthcare portfolio.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
n
Month-end close, journals, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
n
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
n
Supporting contractual compliance and financial governance
n
Partnering with operational stakeholders to provide commercial insights
n




Assisting with audit requirements and statutory reporting
n
Identifying process improvements and supporting finance initiatives
n
Ad hoc analysis and project work as required
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience in an Accountant or Management Accountant role
n
Previous finance experience within the healthcare sector
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
n
CA/CPA qualified or working towards
n
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting
n
Advanced Excel skills with ERP system experience
n
A proactive, collaborative approach and strong communication skills
n
