Project Manager – Control Systems

Contract: 6 Months (Likely Extension)
n Location: Brisbane, QLD
n Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH
n
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager – Control Systems to lead the delivery of technology and operational technology (OT) projects within a large industrial environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in control systems, stakeholder management, and delivering complex technical projects from initiation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead end-to-end project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
n
Define project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies.
n
Manage project risks, issues, governance, reporting, and financials.
n
Engage with business stakeholders, technical SMEs, vendors, and project teams.
n
Oversee procurement, contract management, and resource planning.
n
Drive change management, technical change, release, and transition activities.
n
Lead project governance, stage gates, and funding approvals.
n
Manage and mentor a small project team.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n




Proven experience managing Operational Technology (OT) and Control Systems projects.
n
Strong understanding of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Safety Systems.
n
Previous experience within mining, industrial, or electrical environments is highly regarded.
n
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
n
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
n
Relevant tertiary qualification.
