Job Description
Your current company Approaching 10 years' trading, past the startup phase and successfully delivered projects across a range of sectors, they are seeking to bring on an experienced environmental professional with a background in contaminated land. Leading and coordinating projects, with less time on site, in an operational role, they are open to environmental consultants stepping up into the role, paying between $100k - $145k + super dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

Manage contaminated land assessment, remediation, and validation projects.
n
Prepare project scopes, budgets, programmes, and resource plans.
n
Coordinate project activities and monitor progress against deliverables.
n
Manage project risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
n
Prepare and review technical reports and project documentation.
n
Liaise with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
n
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
n
Monitor project financial performance, including budgets and forecasting, support proposal preparation and tender submissions.

Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed
n
n
Degree qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
n
5+ years' experience in environmental or contaminated land consulting.
n
Demonstrated project management experience, including budget and programme responsibility.
n
Strong understanding of NSW environmental regulations and contaminated land frameworks.
n
Excellent stakeholder management, report writing, and communication skills.
n
