Are you passionate about innovation and creating exceptional food products? We're seeking an experienced Development Technologist to join our dynamic and collaborative R&D; team in Arndell Park. Reporting to the NPD team Lead, you will play a key role in driving the creation of new meat products from concept to commercialisation.
n
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you'll lead production trials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure packaging complies with industry standards.
n

Key Responsibilities include:
n
n
Oversee the end-to-end product development process, using our stage gate model (concept, development, and
commercialisation).
n
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration
n
Plan and lead R&D; production trials, analysing and interpreting results to guide product improvements
n
Work with external marketing and trend experts to identify emerging food trends and incorporate them into product development
n
Partner with ingredient and packaging suppliers to source the best solutions for new products
n
Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation for customer sample submissions
n
Contribute to process design layouts for new products as part of a multi-functional team
n
Manage R&D; systems, ensuring data and information accuracy and completeness
n
Develop new products that align with both internal and external commercial requirements

About You
n
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for food innovation and product development. If you thrive in a rapid-paced environment, love working collaboratively, and have a drive to succeed, we'd love to hear from you!
n
n
2-3 years of experience in product development within the food manufacturing industry
n
A tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related field
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
n
Meat industry experience is a bonus but not essential
n
You'll also bring exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities to this exciting role.
