Intrinzic are partnering with a leading national organisation on a 12-month contract opportunity for a Data Analyst to join their team. This role is Melbourne-based with hybrid working (mix of office and remote).

You'll be part of a small but growing team focused on turning data into proactive insights — helping the business identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.
n

What you'll be doing
n
n
Analyse large sets of network performance data to identify recurring issues and trends
n
Collaborate with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve hardware or environmental problems
n
Use SQL to query databases, Python for
scripting/automation,
and Tableau for reporting and dashboards
n
Build analytics to support a proof of concept for predictive fault detection, moving operations from reactive to proactive
n
Work across technologies including Cisco, Nokia, HFC, FTTP, FTTX, and DWDM
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n




Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
n
Technical skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau (or similar BI tools)
n
Network knowledge is a plus (Cisco, Nokia, HFC, FTTP, FTTX, DWDM) — but not essential if you're eager to learn
n
Great communication skills — able to work with both technical engineers and non-technical stakeholders
n
Attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn are just as important as experience
n
Prior experience working in a Telco would be beneficial, although it is not mandatory.
n
Be part of a small but growing team (2 now, expanding to 4) within a wider group of *****
n
Work on initiatives that could extend your contract well beyond 12 months
n
Gain exposure to cutting-edge network technologies and national-scale data challenges
n
Competitive Daily rate - $600 to $800 inclusive of super - dependant on experience
n
