My client builds contemporary healthcare platforms designed to improve outcomes for patients and healthcare practitioners. They are on the market for an Engineering Lead to head up a high-performing team across Node, React, and AWS.
n
This role will be a hands-on leadership role. Your core focus will be on technical leadership, delivery, and architectural direction, and you will champion best coding practices and shape the future of the engineering culture.

Day to Day
n
n
Lead a cross-functional team of 10 – mostly offshore currently in Europe
n
Improve development velocity through better CI/CD, release processes, and observability
n
Ensure high code quality and guide technical decisions
n
Collaborate with design, product, and clinical teams to deliver features that make a difference
n
Ensure engineering practices meet the standards of regulated medical software
n
Occasional travel to the US and Europe to collaborate with international partners
n
Deep expertise in Node.JS, React, and AWS (Lambda, API Gateway)
n




Mobile experience with iOS and Android will be highly regarded
n
Proven ability to lead from the front with great engineering practices and culture
n
Familiar with DevOps practices and driving improvements
n
Experience in regulated environments is a nice to have (HIPPA, ISO*****, or medical software)
n
Based on East Coast Australia, option to work hybrid from Sydney office
n
