Investment Analyst – Infrastructure & Energy

Our client is a leading Australian infrastructure and energy platform, with a strong track record in originating, structuring, financing and delivering major projects.
n
As the Energy business continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to support both the Energy Origination and Development functions. A rare chance to work across the commercial and development sides of the business, rather than just one stage of the project lifecycle.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Develop, maintain and enhance detailed project finance and financial models across the project lifecycle.
n
Prepare financial analysis, scenario modelling and commercial assessments to support investment and development decisions.
n
Assist with prospect screening, feasibility studies and business case development.
n
Support bid submissions, internal approval papers and financing processes.
n
Coordinate financial, commercial, technical,



legal and tax due diligence with internal and external stakeholders.
n
Work alongside developers, investors, lenders, contractors and advisers throughout project development and execution.
n
Contribute across the full lifecycle of renewable energy and infrastructure projects, from origination through to FID and financial close.
n
n
Ideal Candidate Profile:
n
n
1-3 years' experience in investment banking,
infrastructure/corporate
finance advisory, project finance or Big 4 transactions.
n
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
n
A logical, commercially-minded approach and genuine interest in the energy transition.
n
n
While experience in the energy sector would be valued, the team is ultimately looking for an intellectually curious and commercially minded Analyst with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in the energy transition.
