About the Role

We are seeking fit, reliable, and motivated Labourers to join our team at a busy recycling and waste management facility. In this role, you will be stationed on the processing line, performing vital quality control by sorting and picking materials to ensure a safe and efficient recycling process. This is a quick-paced, physical role that requires sharp attention to detail and a strong commitment to site safety.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Line Sorting: Stand for extended periods to pick/sort general waste and non-recyclable materials (metals, plastics, wood) from recyclables (concrete, asphalt, brick) and dispose of them via chutes.
n
Manual Handling Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, shovelling, hosing, and cleaning the pick hut and surrounding areas.

What You Need to Succeed
n
n
White Card: Current Construction Induction Card (Mandatory).
n
Physical Fitness: Ability to undertake heavy, repetitive manual handling and stand for long periods.
n
Face Fit Mask Compliant: You must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal for mandatory Face Fit testing prior to commencement.
n
Industry Experience: Prior experience in process work within the recycling industry is highly regarded.
n
Highly Regarded Tickets/Tickets: Confined Space Ticket Working at Heights Ticket Asbestos Awareness Training (or similar)
