This Infrastructure & Operations Manager role sits within a mature, multi-site organisation operating a complex and business-critical technology environment. You'll take accountability for infrastructure platforms, end-user services and IT service management, ensuring availability, security and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Leading a team of infrastructure and service delivery professionals, this role blends strategic ownership with hands-on operational oversight, vendor management and people leadership.

About the Role

Own the design, delivery and ongoing operation of hybrid infrastructure and cloud platforms.
n
Lead infrastructure strategy, roadmap planning and platform governance initiatives.
n
Ensure availability, performance and reliability of systems supporting critical business operations.
n
Oversee security, patching, backup and disaster recovery practices across infrastructure services.
n
Drive effective IT service management, including incident, problem and change management.
n
Lead,



mentor and develop infrastructure and service management teams.
n
Manage vendor relationships, service delivery performance and commercial outcomes.
n
Support application and platform upgrades, enhancements and new technology implementations.
n
Maintain documentation, operational standards and knowledge bases across infrastructure platforms.

About You
n

Proven Infrastructure & Operations Manager or senior infrastructure leader.
n
Strong technical background across Microsoft infrastructure, virtualisation and networking.
n
Experience leading hybrid environments spanning on-prem and cloud platforms.
n
Demonstrated success managing IT operations, service management and platform availability.
n
Confident people leader with experience mentoring multi-disciplinary technical teams.
n
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, vendors and external partners.
n
Well-versed in IT service management frameworks and operational best practice.
n
Solid understanding of security, risk management and infrastructure governance.
n
Able to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational accountability.
