CGC Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, high-end residential builder to recruit an Estimator to join their growing team.

With over 10 years of success in the Sydney market, this builder has built a solid reputation for delivering architecturally designed homes across the Eastern Suburbs, Lower North Shore, and Inner West. Their projects range from $2M to $7M and include luxury new builds, major renovations, and bespoke residential developments.

Working as part of a collaborative and experienced team, you'll play a key role in accurately pricing projects while working closely with both the office and site teams throughout the pre-construction process.

Key Responsibilities
n

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for high‐end residential projects.
n
Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and specifications.
n
Interpret and analyse Bills of Quantities (BOQs) with accuracy and attention to detail.
n
Obtain, evaluate,



and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
n
Identify cost‐saving opportunities while maintaining quality and design intent.
n
Develop and maintain estimating databases, cost plans, and pricing schedules.
n
Assist with budgeting, procurement planning, and value engineering.
n
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
n
Support project handovers to the construction team.
n
Trade or tertiary qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Building, or a Carpentry background.
n
Experience with procurement and contract administration.
n
Knowledge of local building regulations and construction practices.
n
Experience using estimating software such as Buildsoft, CostX, Cubit, or similar.
n
