A market leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing business.
n
Offering a range of services to their high-end clients, the company specialises in fit-out and refurbishment projects across Commercial, Education, Health Retail, Hospitality and Government sectors to name a few.
n
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering multiple large construction projects from conversion through construction to hand over, finalisation and review, with project values ranging between smaller up to $30m+.

Responsibilities
n
n
Oversee financial management, planning and programming on all projects
n
Conduct regular programme and internal project audits
n




Manage dispute resolution between both clients and subcontractors
n
Provide guidance through the tender process
n
Attend tender interviews, client meetings and business development functions
n
Review and improve construction methodologies
n
Supervise the recruitment, induction and development of project-based staff, ensuring regular performance feedback occurs
n
Ensure industrial relations issues are resolved and industrial arrangements are up to date
n

Qualifications and Requirements
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction or similar
n
Minimum 3-5 years with proven experience in heavy fit-out and successfully delivering high value construction projects
n
Construction Safety Induction (White) card
n
Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams
n
Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
n
Solid project financial reporting skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
n
