With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, we are expanding our Tenders team and seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join us.

The Role
n
As an Estimator with Rokon, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and timely tender submissions from first principles across a range of civil construction projects. Working closely with construction and engineering teams, you will analyse drawings, assess risks and opportunities, and contribute to winning strategies.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction, subdivision and infrastructure projects from first principles
n
Review drawings, specifications and tender documents
n
Complete quantities, take‐offs and Bills of Quantities
n
Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Identify risks,



value‐engineering opportunities and scope clarifications
n
Support the bid submission process and tender presentations
n
Maintain cost histories and internal databases
n
Assist with project handovers to delivery teams
n
n
About You
n
n
Proven experience as a Civil Estimator (land
development/subdivision
experience preferred)
n
Strong technical understanding of earthworks, drainage, roads and utilities
n
Ability and experience estimating from first principles
n
Proficiency with estimating software such as Expert Estimation or similar
n
Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills
n
Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
n
A proactive, solutions‐driven mindset
n
