Due to continued growth we are looking to employ a driver based out of our Hynam or Horsham Depot to transport Export Containers from our Hynam depo into our Horsham depo or from our Horsham depo to Hynam depo as a A/double.
n
Specific Responsibilities
n
n
Efficient operation of prime movers and other vehicles and equipment from wharves/yard to depots, third party premises and various Qube Logistics customers
n
Complete all necessary associated documentation
n
Take good care of vehicles / plant under your care
n
Ensure compliance with all safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle operating guide lines, loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permits
n




Operate hand held PDA units, tablet devise and any other systems as requires & provided
n
Be reliable and flexible with work arrangements.
n

Qualifications and Experience
n
We are looking for applicants with the following:
n
n
A current MC Licence
n
Excellent Driving Record
n
BFM Accreditation
n
Physically Fit
n
Be reliable and flexible with work arrangements, some week end work will be required
n
n
It would also benefit your application if you have all or any of the following:
n
n
Previous Wharf experience
n
A Double combination experience
n
Experienced in the current Road Networks of Melbourne
n
Current high risk Fork Licence
n
n
Any future employee will need to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and a federal police clearance.
n
