Excel is an established civil contractor delivering bulk and detailed earthworks, remediation, service installation and civil infrastructure projects throughout Sydney. With a strong pipeline of secured work and long-term client relationships, we're continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team.

We’re looking for an experienced estimator with a minimum of five years’ experience, preferably within the Sydney metropolitan market.

Duties may include:

- Lead tender submissions from initial enquiry through to project handover
- Value engineering
- Negotiate subcontract pricing
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Preparing accurate quantity take-offs
- Attending pre-tender and post-tender site meetings
- Maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Managing Expressions of Interests

You’ll bring:

- Minimum of 5 years experience within the Sydney Metropolitan Area
- Demonstrated success in preparing competitive tenders
- Ability to estimate using first principles as well as using estimating software.




- Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Project.
- Ability to work collaboratively within our estimating team while also managing work independently
- Professional approach when dealing with clients, subcontractors and colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
