Senior Accountant - Business Services - WFH 2 days per week

The Accounting Division is a boutique accounting firm offering tax and business advisory services to small and medium sized businesses, and individuals.

We are a 100% cloud based firm, adopting best in class software to ensure we can focus on providing clients with best in class advice.

We are not the typical accounting firm! We do things a bit differently, by taking a up-to-date approach to the advice & services we offer. We are not a tax return factory (although, we do produce many tax returns!) - we instead choose to focus on providing advisory services to all our clients at every interaction.

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team, who will be providing accounting services to clients whilst ensuring excellent customer relationshipsare developed and maintained throughout the process.

This role has come about due to business growth, and expected continued growth in the coming year.

Reporting to the tax partner, you will be responsible for delivering top class advice and services to your own suite of clients.

About the role

Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and BAS's for family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships & Individuals

Preparation & reviewing of working papers & financial statements





Liaising with clients and government organisations in a timely and professional manner (incl. ASIC and ATO)

Meeting with clients to complete Individual Tax Returns

We are looking for someone with a passion for helping small businesses grow. You will also need to have excellent communication and problem solving skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and a desire to learn.

You will have:

A CA Qualification

Minimum 3 year's experience in public practice as an accountant

Back to front knowledge of Xero (minimum 2 year's full time experience, XPM a bonus)

Ability to learn and use other industry related software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem solving and numerical skills

A positive and can-do attitude
