Service Electrician

We need an A-Grade Electrician with BESS experience to keep our fleet running safely and reliably, nationwide.

About the Role
As our Service Electrician, you'll be the hands-on expert keeping our BESS assets performing at their best - from commissioning new sites to troubleshooting faults in the field. You'll split your time between servicing installations across Australia and supporting production at our factory, working closely with our Technical Services Manager and Head of Service and Customer Delivery.

This is a field-based role suited to someone who loves solving problems in office, takes safety seriously, and enjoys variety in their work.

What You'll Be Doing

- Servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting BESS installations across NSW and Australia
- Commissioning new and existing systems - batteries, inverters, transformers, protection systems
- Diagnosing faults across control systems, PLCs, and SCADA interfaces
- Supporting HV switching, isolation, and commissioning (where certified)
- Providing on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Assisting with electrical assembly, testing,



and quality control at our factory
- Joining an after-hours on-call roster to support critical infrastructure

What You'll Bring
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (VIC or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with BESS, power systems, or industrial electrical equipment
- Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems and protection settings
- Ability to read schematics and single-line diagrams
- Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel interstate

Highly regarded:

- Experience with grid-connected assets and inverter-based resources
- HV Operator/Switching certification
- Exposure to control systems, PLCs, and SCADA platforms
- Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, or grid-scale BESS
