Join a collaborative Occupational Therapy team where you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while helping shape and strengthen services for patients across a dynamic clinical environment. You'll play a key role in supporting colleagues, driving service improvements, and providing expert clinical leadership.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver advanced Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and education to HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
- Apply advanced clinical judgement to manage complex caseloads while supporting evidence-based practice across the service.
About you:
We're looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the growth of others and contributing to continuous improvement.
You'll bring:
- Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and a robust foundation in delivering complex clinical services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across interdisciplinary teams and community partners.
- Proven experience supervising, mentoring and developing clinicians, students and support staff.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, service improvement and delivering patient-centred care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

About us:
Occupational Therapy services are managed within the Division of Allied Health and Rehabilitation and are provided across two geographical sites: Woolloongabba and Wynnum West.
The primary function of the Division is to provide high quality clinical, teaching and research services that support the activities of the Divisions of Surgery, Medicine, Cancer, and Rehabilitation. The PAH Occupational Therapy Department provides services to the Geriatric Assessment and Rehabilitation Unit, Brain Injuries Rehabilitation Unit, Spinal Injuries Unit, medical and surgical wards, cancer services, cardiac services, orthopaedics wards, outpatients (including hand therapy and lymphoedema), and the Security Unit and Mental Health.
The department aims to provide high standard services across the continuum of care with consumer participation, occupation based holistic care, evidence based clinical practice, research and evaluation, and education being integral to the work of the department.
