About the Role

Responsible for the strategic and operational management of Patient Support Services at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient and cost-effective support services across the Health Service. The role provides leadership, line management and workforce support to the Facility Support Manager and Patient Support Services workforce, while overseeing ongoing recruitment to attract and retain appropriately skilled staff aligned with organisational needs.

The position drives service improvement through innovative and entrepreneurial approaches to productivity and effectiveness, while applying strong negotiation, delegation and stakeholder management skills. It contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures, standards, strategic objectives and business plans, including the establishment of meaningful performance measures.

A strong focus is placed on patient safety, clinical quality and continuous improvement, actively promoting practices and initiatives that support positive health outcomes, service innovation and a culture of safety across the organisation.

This is a Full-Time Permanent role based at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

About You





You offer a strong combination of relevant qualifications and practical work experience, supported by well-developed leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. You are confident in consulting, negotiating and liaising with people from diverse backgrounds and building positive, skilled relationships. You have demonstrated strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet tight deadlines and achieve outcomes within defined resources.

You are equally comfortable working independently or as part of a high performing team, with the ability to motivate, coordinate and support staff to achieve shared objectives. You possess highly competent computer skills across a range of software applications, including word processing, data management systems and spreadsheets and hold a current driver licence and have ability to travel as required. You will be willing and able to obtain a NSW Class 1A Security Licence through the Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED), if required.
