About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to be responsible for the daily operational activities of the Heart and Lung clinics, including chart preparation, reception, referral management and appointment scheduling in accordance with relevant Queensland Health policies, procedures and legislative guidelines.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Provide support to clinical activities including maintaining wait lists, reception duties, ordering and distribution of patient medical charts, patient registration and organising patient appointments for all procedures and outpatient appointments
- Promote and participate in the revenue generation for the program, in accordance with the National Healthcare Agreement and Medicare Benefits Scheme guidelines
- Management of all patient appointments and diagnostic testings, including follow-up reviews, rescheduling and cancellations in conjunction with the Medical, Clinical and Nursing Staff
- Achieve work targets with limited supervision and contribute to team goals in an ever changing environment
