About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions across Share Point Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, and the Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance ecosystem.

In this role, you will develop up-to-date collaboration solutions using Share Point Framework (SPFx), build Microsoft Teams applications, automate workflows using Microsoft Graph API, and strengthen security through Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Sentinel.

You will also provide L2/L3 platform support while contributing to platform improvements, automation, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop Share Point Online sites, hub sites, and enterprise collaboration solutions.
- Build SPFx web parts, extensions, and custom applications using React and Type Script.
- Configure Share Point content types, managed metadata, site columns, and enterprise content management capabilities.
- Develop Microsoft Teams applications including tabs, messaging extensions, bots, and Adaptive Cards.
- Build Teams bots using Azure Bot Service and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Administer Exchange Online including mailbox management, mail flow, connectors, and security policies.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Sentinel security solutions.
- Develop Microsoft Graph API integrations for Teams, Share Point, Exchange, and Entra ID automation.
- Create Power Shell automation for administration, provisioning, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Support Microsoft 365 platform security, Essential Eight maturity initiatives, and compliance requirements.
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 operational support,



troubleshooting, and platform optimisation.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders while mentoring junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of Microsoft 365 development and administration experience.
- Strong expertise in Share Point Online development using SPFx, React, Type Script, PnP Framework, and up-to-date Share Point architecture.
- Hands‐on experience developing Microsoft Teams applications using Teams Toolkit, Bot Framework SDK, Adaptive Cards, and Messaging Extensions.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 services including Share Point Online, Teams, Exchange Online, and Entra ID.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR), and Microsoft 365 security best practices.
- Experience developing integrations using Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs.
- Expertise in Entra ID administration including Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Identity Governance, and App Registrations.
- Strong Power Shell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience providing enterprise platform support in secure Microsoft 365 environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

- Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, MS-500, or SC-200.
- Experience with Microsoft Syntex document processing and content assembly.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Viva (Connections, Insights, Learning).
- Experience with Azure Functions and Logic Apps for Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Familiarity with Essential Eight, Microsoft security best practices, and enterprise compliance frameworks.

Mandatory Requirements

- Active NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Australian Citizens with an active NV1 clearance only.
- Ability to work from Canberra (preferred) or Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
