Job Description:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, qualified and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Service, Mitchelton.

Things that work for us:

Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification is essential

Ability to commit to permanent part-time employment, with a minimum availability of three weekdays per week. Strong availability for night shifts, with potential availability for morning and afternoon shifts.

Experience in an aged care environment and memory support units (dementia support)

Personal care provision that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation

High level of customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to follow directives as per care plan

Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
