Community Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Community Occupational Therapist to join our client’s team in Sydney. In this role, you’ll work with NDIS participants to provide person-centered, evidence-based interventions that enhance daily living skills, community engagement, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet client needs
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support daily living, community involvement, and work skills
- Utilize teletherapy and telehealth as required to reach clients effectively
- Work independently within community settings while managing your own caseload
- Collaborate with a diverse team of allied health professionals to support client goals
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Eligibility for General AHPRA registration
- Full open Australian Driver’s License
- Eligibility to work long-term in Australia
Experience:
- Proven experience in community settings, working independently to develop and implement treatment plans
- Familiarity with neurodevelopmental disorders, degenerative conditions, and complex needs support
- Solid ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse client needs
