Civil / Stormwater Engineer

Are you a Civil or Stormwater Engineer who enjoys being hands-on with design while also taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery?
An established and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil / Stormwater Engineer to join their Sydney team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of civil infrastructure and land development projects while taking a lead role in project delivery and client engagement.

The Role
This is a technically focused position where you'll remain actively involved in design while leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:

- Stormwater design and modelling for land development and infrastructure projects
- Civil design for subdivisions, roads and associated infrastructure
- Project management and coordination
- Client liaison and stakeholder engagement
- Preparation and review of technical documentation and reports
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers

Current Projects
You'll be involved in a strong pipeline of work including:

- Master planned communities - bulk earthworks, roads and infrastructure delivery
- Small to medium-sized residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions
- Large-scale data centre developments




- Multiple road infrastructure projects for local councils
- Substation and utilities-related developments

Skills & Experience

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Experience in civil and stormwater design within Australia
- Strong knowledge of subdivision and road infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in some or all of the following:
- 12d
- Drains
- MUSIC
- TUFLOW
- HEC-RAS

- Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
