Are you an Experienced Structural Engineer with expertise in soil–structure interaction?

As a Structural Engineer with Paragon you will be responsible for the design and delivery of complex solutions across a wide range of infrastructure and large commercial projects. You will work closely with our internal design team and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and safely, from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work within multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction on assigned work packages, delivering complex solutions with efficiency and technical excellence

- Derive methodologies, and provide technical solutions for infrastructure, ground engineering and temporary works projects

- Deliver and oversee structural analysis and design activities in accordance with relevant Australian Standards,



ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget

- Apply expertise in FEM analysis, soil–structure interaction and design of steel, concrete and ground structures

- Undertake structural condition assessments and site inspections, and report on structural adequacy and compliance

- Prepare specifications, and estimate quantities and costs for structural works

- Play an active role in client engagement

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have

- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (CPEng and NER Registration highly regarded)

- 5+ years’ structural design experience within the consultancy environment

- Strong technical expertise in FEM and structural analysis software (Robot, Wallap, Revit & other Engineering Software)

- Demonstrated ability to deliver detailed design of shoring and ground support systems, including preparation of engineering methodologies and technical reports

- Knowledge of bridge assessment, load rating and construction support will be highly regarded

- Excellent client communication skills and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
