About the role

SSX Group is expanding our specialist team and requires highly professional Armed Security and Unarmed Officers for a premium educational campus in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. We are looking for vigilant, reliable, and well-presented individuals to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct high-visibility static guarding and active roving patrols across the campus.

- Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents or breaches.

- Ensure strict access control and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.

- Maintain detailed incident reports and adhere strictly to site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Participate in ongoing training and site-specific competency assessments.

About you

- Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A, 1C, 1F)

- Valid Firearms Licence for business/employment purposes.

- We are willing to provide training and support to suitable candidates who may not currently have the relevant experience or qualifications, including assistance in obtaining the required 1F and Class H security licence endorsements.

- Internal Accreditation Requirement: Fully licensed Class H security licence holders, including provisional licence holders, will be required to successfully complete our internal accreditation and certification process, regardless of whether they currently hold a valid certificate or authorisation to carry a firearm.



All personnel must work in an unarmed capacity until they have successfully completed the required internal accreditation and have been formally authorised to perform armed duties.

- Previous experience in armed security, cash-in-transit (CIT), static security/gatehouse operations, security monitoring or control centre environments, or law enforcement is highly desirable.

- Exceptional situational awareness and conflict resolution skills.

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Positions - ASAP starting pending vetting process

- 1 × Night Security Guard – Part-Time

- 3 nights per week Monday , Tuesday and Thursday

- Primary Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

- Weekend availability required on occasion

- 1 × Armed / Unarmed Security Officer – Full time

- Full-time position Monday to Friday

- Primary Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

- Must be flexible and available to work across a 24/7 roster when operationally required

- Weekend availability required on occasion

- 2 × Armed / Unarmed Rover Security Officers – Casual / Part-Time

- Casual / part-time positions Monday to Friday

- Primary Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

- Must be flexible and available to work across a 24/7 roster when operationally required

- Weekend availability required on occasion
