An exciting opportunity is available for a Current Graduate Occupational Therapist to join a highly supportive paediatric clinic team with strong supervision, experienced leadership and a fantastic team culture.

This role is ideal for a New Graduate OT who is looking for a well-supported first role in paediatrics, with direct 1:1 supervision, ongoing mentoring and access to a very involved Director who remains clinically active and genuinely invested in the development of the team.

The role is predominantly clinic-based, with the opportunity to support children across local school settings. The team does not complete home visits, and community work is limited to school-based sessions during the middle of the day. Access to a car will be required for local school visits.

You will be joining a bubbly, energetic and collaborative team environment, with a strong early intervention focus. While the team is generally young and vibrant, the clinic is supported by highly experienced managers, with some therapists having been with the company for close to 20 years.

About the role
As a New Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will support children across a varied paediatric caseload, with a strong focus on early intervention. You will work with children with developmental delays, disabilities and a range of functional needs, while receiving close support from senior clinicians and management.
Most therapy is delivered within the clinic workplace, with school-based visits available locally. The school sessions are generally structured as blocks of children. There are no home visits required.
The clinic works with a range of NDIS participants, including some children with more complex needs. However, New Graduates will be well supported and guided appropriately, with complex cases supported by experienced clinicians.

The successful candidate will be a warm, energetic and motivated Occupational Therapist who is excited to build their career in paediatrics.
You will enjoy working with children, be confident in a busy clinic workplace and be open to a role that includes physical, activity-based therapy. This position would suit someone bubbly, engaging and eager to learn within a collaborative team.

Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
