About the Role

n

Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you will lead site fabrication crews and coordinate the protected and efficient delivery of fabrication, maintenance and shutdown works.

n

You will be responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating labour, materials and equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Supervise and coordinate fabrication personnel and subcontractors
n
- Lead daily pre-start meetings and promote a strong safety culture
n
- Plan and coordinate daily site activities
n
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
n
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and site logistics
n
- Monitor productivity, quality and project progress
n
- Liaise with clients, Project Managers and workshop personnel
n




- Complete site documentation and reporting requirements
n
- Mentor apprentices and tradespeople
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Trade qualification in Fabrication, Boilermaking or similar
n
- Previous experience supervising fabrication crews in heavy industrial environments
n
- Strong understanding of welding and fabrication standards
n
- Experience delivering shutdowns, maintenance and project work
n
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
- Current Driver Licence
n
- Construction White Card
n

n

Desirable Qualifications

n

n
- Process Pipe Fitting and/or Pipe Welding experience
n
- Forklift Licence
n
- Dogging and/or Rigging Tickets
n
- Working at Heights
n
- Confined Space Entry
n
