Geotechnical Driller

We have built our reputation on professionalism, reliability and quality project delivery, and are seeking a Geotechnical Driller with proven geotechnical drilling experience to join our team on either a full-time or casual basis.

Our work includes a diverse range of geotechnical and environmental drilling projects for engineering consultants, government agencies and a broad range of clients throughout Victoria and interstate.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate a range of geotechnical drilling rigs across investigation projects.
n
- Lead daily drilling operations and supervise drilling offsiders.
n
- Carry out geotechnical sampling, in-situ testing and project documentation.
n
- Maintain drilling equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
n
- Work closely with consultants, engineers and site personnel.
n




- Deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n
- Travel throughout Victoria and interstate as required, including regular work away from home.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Proven experience as a Geotechnical Driller.
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
n
- Construction White Card.
n
- Reliable, safety-focused and professional approach to work.
n
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
n
- Willingness to travel and work away from home on a regular basis.
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- HR Driver Licence.
n
- Class 2 Driller's Licence (or recognised interstate equivalent).
n
- Certificate III in Drilling Operations.
n
- Diamond coring experience.
n
- Sonic and environmental drilling experience.
n
- Experience operating non-synchromesh vehicles.
n
- Experience using tablet and app-based field reporting systems.
n
- Additional relevant industry licences and tickets.
n

Please note: This is not a FIFO rostered position. The role involves regular regional and interstate travel and working away from home on project-based work.
